A BIG Thank You to all our 2017 Volunteers!!! The 2018 Volunteer Appreciation Party was once again graciously hosted by Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. It was a wonderful evening with yummy food, mini cupcakes, wine, a great view and good friends. We formally recognized our volunteers who in 2017 joined the ALRP Panel, accepted five or more referrals, presented an MCLE training, volunteered in our office or at two or more events, supported ALRP’s Pro Bono Connections Initiative, and served on ALRP’s Panel for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years! ALRP celebrated 6 Panel attorneys who have hit their 35th anniversaries on our Panel. With ALRP turning 35 this year, these 6 are incredible founding members.
We also recognized Chuch Adams as ALRP’s 2018 Volunteer of the Year! This award was newly renamed the James M. Wood Volunteer of the Year award in honour of the incomparable, long time ALRP supporter, Jim Wood. So many thank yous to go around – here’s to 2018!!
